Citizens Advice - a National organisation specialising in confidential information and advice to assist people with legal, debt, housing and other problems

Local Authority / Council - should your accommodation provider or landlord not be accredited under one of our Codes, your local council may be able to provide further help and assistance

Shelter - a National charity providing free legal advice on housing problems and homelessness. They have a free crisis helpline that is open 365 days a year

Students' Unions - Students' Union at your University may be able to provide guidance via their Advice Service. Their website can usually be found via your University/College website, you can also email [email protected] at the National Union of Students (NUS) to find the contact details for your Union.

Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT) - AKT supports LGBTQ+ young people aged 16/25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness, and support young people into safe homes.
