Thge Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) have published a new Code of Practice for the remediation of residential buildings.

The Code sets expectations on and provides guidance for remediation projects. Projects are expected to appropriately communicate with, inform and engage residents and mitigate the impacts of the project on residents’ lives.

The Code has been developed with residents, with input from the National Code and other industry stakeholders. This Code mainly applies to projects where works are required due to the external walls of a residential building, but can also be applied to other remediation projects.
