However, Code providers should all have a number of things in common that mark them out as good quality:

• Buildings should be well managed, with staff easily contactable
• Repairs should be dealt with promptly and courteously
• There should be appropriate and well managed systems for health and safety
• There should be an easily accessible complaints system
• All marketing is accurate
• The National Codes should be detailed on the providers website
