Help Shape Future Training Opportunities for the Student Accommodation Sector Date Posted: 17th June 2026 Unipol and the National Codes are keen to better understand the training and development needs of staff working in the student accommodation sector (both private and university provided). To support this, we are inviting members to take part in a short research interview to help shape future training provision for the sector. Why are we doing this?We know that well-trained staff are essential to delivering high-quality, supportive student accommodation. However, there is currently limited sector-specific training available. We want to hear from colleagues across the sector to better understand the knowledge, skills and development gaps that providers are seeking to address. Who can take part?We are keen to hear from a wide range of organisations, roles and levels of experience. Whether you are already actively involved with training and development or have never participated in sector learning before, your perspective is important. What will taking part involve? We have partnered with Resound Training, who will be carrying out this research on behalf of Unipol and the National Codes. They will hosting online interviews with a range of colleagues from across the sector, as well as some focus groups and online questionnaires. Interested in taking part or learning more? We would love to hear from as many of you as possible to really capture what colleagues in the sector need or want to help them develop. If you would like to register your interest, please complete the form here: Expression of Interest – Research on Training Needs in the Student Accommodation Sector – Fill in form Once you have completed the form, you will receive more information about what is involved and the opportunities to take part. The closing date for expressions of interest is 5pm on Monday 22nd June 2026.
